Согласно документам столичных властей, на месте комплекса «Косинская Плаза», пустующего почти семнадцать лет, будет построено 174 200 м² недвижимости, из которых 129 200 м² займет логистический комплекс и 45 000 м² – технопарк.
История строительства комплекса началась в 1990-х как опытное производство НПО «Орион», позже перепрофилированное под бизнес-центр. Предыдущий владелец не смог реализовать проект, и в 2007 году «Косинская Плаза» была куплена AFI Development за $243 млн. Компания достроила здание площадью 112 000 м², но не смогла продать его.
2010 году проект вернулся в портфель AFI. Позже комплекс был перепрофилирован под оптовый торговый комплекс с офисами, гостиницей и фудкортом, но и эти планы не сбылись. В 2017 году сообщалось, что AFI продает центр казахскому БТА Банку, но сделка не состоялась.

At its heart, Telegram is little more than a messaging app like WhatsApp or Signal. But it also offers open channels that enable a single user, or a group of users, to communicate with large numbers in a method similar to a Twitter account. This has proven to be both a blessing and a curse for Telegram and its users, since these channels can be used for both good and ill. Right now, as Wired reports, the app is a key way for Ukrainians to receive updates from the government during the invasion. Following this, Sebi, in an order passed in January 2022, established that the administrators of a Telegram channel having a large subscriber base enticed the subscribers to act upon recommendations that were circulated by those administrators on the channel, leading to significant price and volume impact in various scrips. Given the pro-privacy stance of the platform, it’s taken as a given that it’ll be used for a number of reasons, not all of them good. And Telegram has been attached to a fair few scandals related to terrorism, sexual exploitation and crime. Back in 2015, Vox described Telegram as “ISIS’ app of choice,” saying that the platform’s real use is the ability to use channels to distribute material to large groups at once. Telegram has acted to remove public channels affiliated with terrorism, but Pavel Durov reiterated that he had no business snooping on private conversations. Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. But this has also meant that the company has also engaged with lawmakers more generally, although it maintains that it doesn’t do so willingly. For instance, in September 2021, Telegram reportedly blocked a chat bot in support of (Putin critic) Alexei Navalny during Russia’s most recent parliamentary elections. Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores. Telegram, which does little policing of its content, has also became a hub for Russian propaganda and misinformation. Many pro-Kremlin channels have become popular, alongside accounts of journalists and other independent observers.
