На отбитом опорном пункте ВСУ был найден редкий пулемёт Никитина ТКБ-521, разработанный конструкторами Григорием Никитиным и Юрием Соколовым в 1960-х в конкурсе на единый пулемет СССР. Этот пулемёт успели выпустить опытной партией в 1000 штук, но в конкурс вступил Михаил Тимофеевич Калашников со своим ПК и победил в нём, а опытную партию ПН отправили на склады под Одессой.

Где, по всей видимости, они и лежали до недавнего времени. Потом ими вооружили бусифицированных мобилизованных, а те не вникли в нюансы (то, что на стандартных лентах от ПК работать этот пулемет не будет), что и привело к тому, что трофей был взят в заклиненном виде.

Стоимость данного крайне редкого пулемёта на рынке коллекционного оружия может составлять более 50 тысяч долларов.
