Превышение запасов снега выше нормы от 10 до 75% отмечается в Вилюйской группе районов, местами в Кобяйском, Ленском, Оленёкском, Алданском, Верхнеколымском, Нижнеколымском, Оймяконском и Усть-Янском районах.
В нижнем течении рек Индигирки, Анабар, Оленёк зафиксированы снегозапасы ниже нормы. На остальной части территории республики — в пределах и меньше нормы.
В марте будет дан старт противопаводковым мероприятиям по ослаблению прочности льда на реках Якутии.
