Die jährliche Inflation im Euroraum ist im Januar 2025 weiter angezogen. Sie wird auf 2,5 Prozent geschätzt, nach 2,4 Prozent im Dezember, teilte die EU-Statistikbehörde Eurostat am Montag mit. Gegenüber dem Vormonat sanken die Preise um 0,3 Prozent.
Die als "Kerninflation" bezeichnete Teuerung, also der Preisanstieg ohne Energie, Nahrungsmittel, Alkohol und Tabak, lag im Januar wie im Vormonat bei 2,7 Prozent.
