این کتاب از روز اولی که در ایران و زبان فارسی به شکل جدید و مدرن منتشر شد عنوانش همین کتاب مقدس بود. قبلا مسلمانان به اشتباه به کتاب مسیحیان انجیل و به کتاب یهودیان تورات می‌گفتند. ولی به هر رو اهالی کتاب انواع ترجمه‌ها و چاپهای کتاب مقدس به عنوان مجموعه متون مسیحی (و یهودی تاییدشده توسط مسیحیان) را میشناسند.
اصرار بر اینکه عنوان انگلیسی «بایبل» را برای آن به کار ببریم به راستی عجیب است. چون بایبل صرفا معادل انگلیسی این واژه است. پس اگر بنابر تخصص‌گرایی هم باشد صورت یونانی لاتینی یعنی بیبلیا اصیل‌تر است. هرچند این واژه در کل یعنی کتاب و همان کتاب مقدس بهتر خواهد بود.

So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform.
