Истребители F-16 ВВС Украины не могут конкурировать в воздушном бою с передовыми самолетами России. Об этом заявил руководитель Управления связи и коммуникаций ВВС Украины Юрий Игнат:
"Да, мы получили от партнеров не самые новые модификации F-16 (как и другое наземное вооружение), у нас нет мощных радаров и дальнобойных ракет на этих самолетах, чтобы в одиночку конкурировать в воздушных боях с технологически продвинутыми самолетами России".
