По словам Ольги Керимовой, одной из первых оказавшихся на месте происшествия, она и другие очевидцы оказывали помощь пострадавшим до прибытия экстренных служб. Керимова отметила, что мимо проезжала машина скорой помощи, направлявшаяся на другой вызов. Однако, по её словам, бригада приняла решение остановиться и оказать помощь: «Медсестра, которая помогала нам достать ребёнка из-под сиденья, Вы наш герой!!! (Здоровья вам и вашей семье)».
