Boris Adamovich Rybakov, Chief Technologist of ANO «Hydrogen Technological Solutions», has talked about the next stage of testing a 30 kW gas piston unit. During the tests, various types of fuel were burned: gasoline, methane, a mixture of hydrogen and methane, as well as pure hydrogen. Apart from estimation of power and fuel consumption, special attention was paid to measurements of emissions of nitrogen oxides and carbon.

Carbon monoxide (CO) is a product of incomplete combustion of carbon and is usually formed due to lack of oxygen and low temperature. Nitrogen oxides, on the contrary, are formed due to excess of oxygen at high temperatures. These substances pose a serious threat to the environment and human health.

The trial results demonstrated significant differences between the types of fuel. So, when running on gasoline, the CO level reached 20,000 ppm, and the content of nitrogen oxides made up 600 ppm. The transition to methane led to a decrease in these indicators to 5,800 ppm and 178 ppm, respectively. However, the most impressive results were obtained in consequence of the pure hydrogen usage: the CO level was only 2,300 ppm, meanwhile nitrogen oxides were completely absent.

With an increase in the load up to 9 kW, the CO and nitrogen oxides’ figures remained significantly lower in installations running on hydrogen than in methane-run installations. Further tests confirmed this trend even with an increase in power up to 15 kW.

The tests also included the use of mixtures of hydrogen and methane with different proportions, which made it possible to receive additional data on the effect of fuel composition on emissions of harmful substances. Despite the ongoing adjustment of engine parameters, the overall picture remains positive: the transition to hydrogen fuel considerably reduces harmful emissions.

Thus, the conducted tests have clearly demonstrated the advantages of using hydrogen as an environmentally friendly energy source. The reached results open up new prospects for the development of hydrogen technologies.

Multiple pro-Kremlin media figures circulated the post's false claims, including prominent Russian journalist Vladimir Soloviev and the state-controlled Russian outlet RT, according to the DFR Lab's report. These entities are reportedly operating nine Telegram channels with more than five million subscribers to whom they were making recommendations on selected listed scrips. Such recommendations induced the investors to deal in the said scrips, thereby creating artificial volume and price rise. At this point, however, Durov had already been working on Telegram with his brother, and further planned a mobile-first social network with an explicit focus on anti-censorship. Later in April, he told TechCrunch that he had left Russia and had “no plans to go back,” saying that the nation was currently “incompatible with internet business at the moment.” He added later that he was looking for a country that matched his libertarian ideals to base his next startup. Russians and Ukrainians are both prolific users of Telegram. They rely on the app for channels that act as newsfeeds, group chats (both public and private), and one-to-one communication. Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Telegram has remained an important lifeline for both Russians and Ukrainians, as a way of staying aware of the latest news and keeping in touch with loved ones.
