Маловероятно, что речь идет о преференциях местным против понаехавших - местные тоже не слишком умеют ставить знаки препинания, выделяя запятыми деепричастные обороты. Ладно еще (если уж настолько нужно общий курс) сделали бы литературу (от нее пользы больше). Или математику (без тригонометрии, конечно) - вот и Медведев за нее сегодня заступился. Вы сейчас что-нибудь скажете про то, что это дисциплинирует мозг и создавать какие-нибудь нейронные цепочки. Но вокруг нас масса людей пишет с ошибками - более способных, успешных и симпатичных, чем мы. Зачем лишать таких шанса?

Russians and Ukrainians are both prolific users of Telegram. They rely on the app for channels that act as newsfeeds, group chats (both public and private), and one-to-one communication. Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Telegram has remained an important lifeline for both Russians and Ukrainians, as a way of staying aware of the latest news and keeping in touch with loved ones. The news also helped traders look past another report showing decades-high inflation and shake off some of the volatility from recent sessions. The Bureau of Labor Statistics' February Consumer Price Index (CPI) this week showed another surge in prices even before Russia escalated its attacks in Ukraine. The headline CPI — soaring 7.9% over last year — underscored the sticky inflationary pressures reverberating across the U.S. economy, with everything from groceries to rents and airline fares getting more expensive for everyday consumers. It is unclear who runs the account, although Russia's official Ministry of Foreign Affairs Twitter account promoted the Telegram channel on Saturday and claimed it was operated by "a group of experts & journalists." Apparently upbeat developments in Russia's discussions with Ukraine helped at least temporarily send investors back into risk assets. Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko that there were "certain positive developments" occurring in the talks with Ukraine, according to a transcript of their meeting. Putin added that discussions were happening "almost on a daily basis."
