Continuing its crackdown against entities allegedly involved in a front-running scam using messaging app Telegram, Sebi on Thursday carried out search and seizure operations at the premises of eight entities in multiple locations across the country. But it has "disclosed 0 bytes of user data to third parties, including governments," Telegram states on its website. Sebi said data, emails and other documents are being retrieved from the seized devices and detailed investigation is in progress.
