واعلم أن الستر بالجلباب، وهو ستر النساء العفيفات، يقتضي -كما تقدم في صفة لبسه- أن يكونَ الجلباب علىٰ الرأس لا على الكتفين، ويقتضي أن لا يكون الجلباب -العباءة- زينة في نفسه، ولا مضافًا إليه ما يزينه من نقشٍ أو تطريز، ولا ما يلفت النظر إليه، وإلا كان نقضًا لمقصود الشارع من إخفاء البدن والزينة وتغطيتها عن عيون الأجانب عنها.
