Рост интереса связан с криптовалютным ралли, которое началось после победы Трампа — известного сторонника легализации крипты. Биткоин за месяц подорожал на 40%, почти до 100 000 долларов, а его добыча снова стала выгодной: себестоимость добычи одного биткоина составляет примерно 40 000 долларов.
Дополнительный толчок индустрии дал новый закон, легализующий майнинг в России. Правда, создавать фермы разрешено не везде — из-за высокой нагрузки на энергосети.
