On December 23rd, 2020, Pavel Durov posted to his channel that the company would need to start generating revenue. Meanwhile, the company which owns Telegram is registered in the British Virgin Islands. However, the perpetrators of such frauds are now adopting new methods and technologies to defraud the investors.
