▪️أحمد بن محمد بن عبد اللّٰه گوید: عبد اللّٰه بن هُلَیْل معتقد به إمامت عبد اللّٰه (أفطح پسر بزرگ امام صادق علیه السلام) بود، مسافرتی به عسکر (سامراء) کرد و از آن عقیده برگشت. من از او علت برگشتنش را پرسیدم ؟! گفت: من بفکر افتادم که این مطلب را از حضرت أبی الحسن (امام هادی) علیه السلام بپرسم، اتفاقا در کوچه تنگی به حضرت برخوردم، خود را بطرف من کج کرد تا برابرم رسید، چیزی از دهانش بجانب من انداخت که روی سینه‌ام افتاد، من آن را برداشتم، ورقه ای بود که در آن نوشته بود: ﺍﻭ در آنجا (ﻣﻘﺎﻡ) نبود و چنان إستحقاقی هم نداشت.
▫️ما کان أی عبد الله هناک أی فی مقام الإمامة و لا کان کذلک أی مستحقا للإمامة.
