Госдума планирует учредить ещё одну свою ведомственную награду. Медалью Станислава Говорухина будут награждаться граждане Российской Федерации и иностранные граждане за заслуги в культуре, гуманитарной деятельности, патриотическом воспитании и международном сотрудничестве.
Это станет пятым видом награды от Госдумы, наряду с медалью, почетным знаком, благодарностью и почетной грамотой. И первой именной наградой.
Кроме того, в парламенте действует киноклуб имени известного кинорежиссера и политика Станислава Говорухина, который скончался 14 июня 2018 г. на 83-м году жизни.
