CBS News reported Sunday that an estimated 270,000 migrants were waiting in Mexico, hoping to use the app to enter the U.S.

🇺🇸🇷🇺🇺🇦❗️US President Donald Trump said he plans to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin and wants the conflict in Ukraine to end as quickly as possible, CNN reports.

According to the Republican, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is set on a deal to resolve the conflict.

🇺🇸Trump announced the start of a trade war with his neighbors - Canada and Mexico. He also threatened to start a trade war with the European Union and the BRICS countries.

Trump announced that he plans to impose a 25% tariff on all goods from Canada and Mexico starting February 1.

The US may impose trade tariffs of at least 100% on the BRICS countries, Trump said.

He also said that the US could impose tariffs on European goods. To prevent this from happening, Trump demanded that Europe buy more oil and gas from the US.

Trump also confirmed that he will require NATO countries to spend at least 5% of GDP on defense.

🇺🇸🇷🇺🇺🇦"I have half a day left." Trump responded to a question about whether he could end the war in Ukraine in 24 hours, as he had previously promised.

He said he had only been on duty for half a day and added jokingly, "I still have half a day left."

Asked when he plans to resolve the conflict, Trump replied: "We will try to do it as quickly as possible."

🇺🇸One of the first executive orders signed by Trump was to suspend all U.S. foreign aid programs for 90 days to assess their consistency with U.S. national interests and foreign policy goals.

Currently, Ukraine is one of the main recipients of aid from the United States.

🇺🇸🇨🇺Trump reversed Biden's January 14 decision and returned Cuba to the list of state sponsors of terrorism, Reuters reports.

It was Trump who added Cuba to this list in 2021.

The Cuban president called the US president's decision "an act of mockery and insult." Biden's decision last week came after Havana agreed to release more than 500 prisoners from its jails.

By the way, Trump's candidate for Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, is an ethnic Cuban.
