Несрећа јеврејскога владара рјечито говори о сложености духовнога живота. Недовољно је осјећати Бога. Сви га ми у овој или оној мјери осјећамо по чињеници својега рођења. Јер свако од нас — образ је Божији. Мало је читати свете књиге, вршити вјерски обред, дружити се са вјерскијем дјелатницима. Нужно је свакодневно присиљавати себе извршавати оне заповиједи о којима збори Благовијешће. И најприје оне које не желим извршавати због страха да ћу изгубити своје или не добити жељено. А то су увијек заповиједи о служењу ближњему и Богу. Када у свијем својијем дјелима најприје тражимо одговор на питање: "Што Ти сада хоћеш од мене Господе?" И када у сваком својем почетку не мислимо о својој користи, но о томе како да донесемо корист онијем људима који нас окружују.
