С просьбой помочь установить памятник на территории вуза, который носит имя нашего выдающегося земляка, ко мне на одном из прямых эфиров обращались красноярцы. Поручал министерству культуры, городским и краевым ведомствам включиться в эту работу в рамках подготовки к 100-летию писателя. Эскиз проекта стал победителем проведенного творческого конкурса.
