По версии следствия, в период с апреля 2014 года по апрель 2019 года Гришина получила лично, а также через посредников в качестве взятки денежные средства в общей сумме более 4,5 миллионов рублей, то есть в особо крупном размере, за совершение незаконных действий и бездействие.
Гришина обвиняется в совершении преступления, предусмотренного ч. 6 ст. 290 УК РФ (получение должностным лицом взятки в особо крупном размере).

In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. Multiple pro-Kremlin media figures circulated the post's false claims, including prominent Russian journalist Vladimir Soloviev and the state-controlled Russian outlet RT, according to the DFR Lab's report.
