▪️49% считают, что смертную казнь нужно разрешить и применять; 26% высказались за сохранение нынешнего положения с мораторием на смертную казнь; 15% предлагают её полностью отменить и 10% затруднились.
Социологи отмечают явный (в 3 раза) поколенческий разрыв по вопросу о смертной казни: только 19% родившихся в 2001 году и позднее выступают за её применение по сравнению с 57% россиян, родившихся до 1947 года, и 62% участников опроса, родившихся в 1948-1967 гг. Гуманизация и смягчение нравов.
