We have received the tragic news of the death of Ursula Haverbeck earlier today.
Ms Haverbeck, who turned 96 just over a week ago, has been an active campaigner for truth and justice all her life. She grew up in National Socialist Germany and has spent several terms in prison for challenging lies about Germany spread by the victorious powers. In recent years, she has been in and out of prisons, each time simply for uttering words that the German authorities have decided should not be spoken. She never lost hope or faith that the truth would eventually prevail.
Haverbeck was a true fighter who inspired thousands of freedom fighters around the world and whose memory will continue to inspire struggle. It is with great sadness that the Nordic Resistance Movement has received the news that the heroine has passed away peacefully in her home today. We promise and swear to continue her fight!

In 2018, Russia banned Telegram although it reversed the prohibition two years later. In the United States, Telegram's lower public profile has helped it mostly avoid high level scrutiny from Congress, but it has not gone unnoticed. Messages are not fully encrypted by default. That means the company could, in theory, access the content of the messages, or be forced to hand over the data at the request of a government. That hurt tech stocks. Emerson Brooking, a disinformation expert at the Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab, said: "Back in the Wild West period of content moderation, like 2014 or 2015, maybe they could have gotten away with it, but it stands in marked contrast with how other companies run themselves today."
