Так началась серия, которая вылилась в 2 книги: “Shop Cats of Hong Kong” и ”Shop Cats of China”. Для владельцев магазинов — это не просто коты. Это компаньоны, талисманы, ловцы мышей и маскоты магазина.

В процессе своего исследования Марсель открыл, что это явление не случайность, а культурный феномен, распространенный по всему Китаю. Традиция нетронутая временем, остаток настоящей жизни в новом современном мире.
