Борт с регистрационным номером A6-EXA 25 ноября прилетел в Дубай с завода в Тулузе и стал у авиакомпании первым судном такого типа из 65 заказанных.
Самолёт может использовать до 50% биотоплива, а к 2030 году Airbus планирует наладить производство лайнеров, которые смогут летать на 100% биотопливе.
Airbus A350-900 представлен в трёхклассной компоновке и рассчитан на 312 пассажиров:
➖ В эконом-классе — 259 кресел. Авиакомпания в начале 2025 года покажет новые 6-позиционные подголовники кресел, благодаря которым можно будет отказаться от подушек для шеи.
➖ В премиум-экономе будет 21 кресло, по комфорту аналогичные креслам бизнес-класса в большинстве авиакомпаний.
➖ Бизнес-класс представлен в компоновке 1-2-1, всего предусмотрено 32 кресла, дизайн и эргономика которых схожи с креслами Mercedes S-class.
Emirates планируют выполнить первый регулярный коммерческий рейс на A350 3 января 2025 года из Дубая в Эдинбург.
