В Румынии построят хаб Rheinmetall по ремонту вооружений для Украины — там будут приводить в порядок Leopard и Challenger
Оборонный концерн Rheinmetall намерен открыть в Румынии на границе с Украиной центр по обслуживанию и ремонту техники и оружия, используемых Киевом, сообщает Reuters. Концерн будет обслуживать гаубицы, танки Leopard и Challenger, а также бронетранспортеры Fuchs, военные грузовики и боевые машины пехоты Marder.
«Сервисный хаб должен играть важную роль в поддержании оперативной готовности западных боевых систем, находящихся на вооружении Украины, и обеспечении доступности материально-технического обеспечения», — заявил представитель Rheinmetall.
Ранее концерн открыл подобный центр в Литве с целью ремонта военной техники НАТО в странах Балтии. Также недавно начались поставки обещанных Киеву 40 БМП Marder, которые еще не факт что успеют к весеннему наступлению. Обещался концерн и построить танковый завод на территории Украины, идея чего выглядит крайне сомнительно.
