Как сообщает RT, тело, найденное на месте взрыва, принадлежит киллеру. Оно сильно обезображено. Устройство было закреплено на теле мужчины. ⏺UPD: По информации ТГ-канала «112», эпицентр взрыва, в результате которого в последствии скончался Саркисян, находился на теле смертника. Предварительно установлено, что это была мина МОН-50, которую сам киллер и привел в действие, едва глава федерации бокса ДНР вышел из лифта.
Предположительно, подрывник — ранее судимый гражданин Армении. Сейчас рассматривается две основные версии — украинский след, деятельность Саркисяна, как создателя батальона «Арбат» и передел рынка табачной продукции. Армен Саркисян был одним из крупнейших в стране поставщиков табака из-за рубежа.
