Новый трамвай Flexity для Берлина проходит испытания

Берлинский перевозчик BVG начал испытывать первый 9-секционный трамвай, поставленный Alstom по заказу 2020 года. Модель станет самым длинным трамваем Берлина.

Трамваи должны начать поступать в парк летом на смену сдвоенным моделям GT6 на одной из самых загруженных линий столицы Германии. Модификация отличается обновленным шасси, новой конструкцией сидений и окон. Улучшена эргономика кабины, а зеркала заменены видеокамерами.

Рамочное соглашение на €571 млн с Bombardier Transportation (поглощена Alstom в 2021 году) предусматривает закупку до 117 полностью низкопольных машин. Так, 35 девятисекционных должны иметь длину 50 м, 82 пятисекционных – 30 м. Твердый заказ был сделан на 17 и 3 единиц соответственно за €115 млн.

Платформа трамваев Flexity – одна из самых массовых в мире. За более чем 30 лет свыше 5000 трамваев поставлены в 70 городов по всему миру. В самом Берлине уже эксплуатируется 231 трамвай этой платформы.
