Один из самых древних сохранившихся русских шлемов.

Найден в Гнёздово в кургане 86 (18) (раскопки С. И. Сергеева 1901 года). Шлем находился на огнище вместе с кольчугой и прикрывал меч и нож, вертикально воткнутые в землю, рядом было копье. Высота шлема около 18 см, длина окружности по нижнему краю венца около 64 см. Тулья составлена из двух половин, соединенных наклепанной полосой с двойным рядом часто расположенных заклепок. Нижний край стягивает широкий обруч с рядом крупных петель для бармицы. Под шлемом встретилось несколько мелких шариков золота и серебра (вероятно, остатки украшений). Датирован шлем X веком.

Right now, as Wired reports, the app is a key way for Ukrainians to receive updates from the government during the invasion. What distinguishes the app from competitors is its use of what's known as channels: Public or private feeds of photos and videos that can be set up by one person or an organization. The channels have become popular with on-the-ground journalists, aid workers and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who broadcasts on a Telegram channel. The channels can be followed by an unlimited number of people. Unlike Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networks, there is no advertising on Telegram and the flow of information is not driven by an algorithm. False news often spreads via public groups, or chats, with potentially fatal effects.
