В Алматы прокурорами пресечена деятельность организованной преступной группировки «карманников».
В ходе расследования было выявлено, что лидер и 11 участников ОПГ с ноября прошлого года орудовали в общественном транспорте и похищали ценности граждан.
По средним подсчетам ежедневный преступный доход злоумышленников составлял около миллиона тенге.
Приговором суда 9 участников преступной группы осуждены к длительным срокам лишения свободы.
Двое участников ОПГ объявлены в розыск, в отношении них ведется отдельное расследование.

Additionally, investors are often instructed to deposit monies into personal bank accounts of individuals who claim to represent a legitimate entity, and/or into an unrelated corporate account. To lend credence and to lure unsuspecting victims, perpetrators usually claim that their entity and/or the investment schemes are approved by financial authorities. The message was not authentic, with the real Zelenskiy soon denying the claim on his official Telegram channel, but the incident highlighted a major problem: disinformation quickly spreads unchecked on the encrypted app. So, uh, whenever I hear about Telegram, it’s always in relation to something bad. What gives? Perpetrators of these scams will create a public group on Telegram to promote these investment packages that are usually accompanied by fake testimonies and sometimes advertised as being Shariah-compliant. Interested investors will be asked to directly message the representatives to begin investing in the various investment packages offered. In view of this, the regulator has cautioned investors not to rely on such investment tips / advice received through social media platforms. It has also said investors should exercise utmost caution while taking investment decisions while dealing in the securities market.
