The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. Stocks dropped on Friday afternoon, as gains made earlier in the day on hopes for diplomatic progress between Russia and Ukraine turned to losses. Technology stocks were hit particularly hard by higher bond yields. The message was not authentic, with the real Zelenskiy soon denying the claim on his official Telegram channel, but the incident highlighted a major problem: disinformation quickly spreads unchecked on the encrypted app. The SC urges the public to refer to the SC’s I nvestor Alert List before investing.
