В 17 лет юношу по протекции родственников даже без школьного аттестата взяли в МВД Чечни, где использовали для поиска «экстремистов» среди чеченцев. В 18 лет Халидова отправили на войну с Украиной.
За неоднократные попытки оставить службу ему пригрозили уголовным делом о терроризме, в результате чего он обратился к создателям канала 1ADAT Ибрагиму и Байсангуру Янгулбаевым, обещавшим ему эвакуацию. Однако в обмен на это они потребовали от Халидова информацию о работе МВД и, анонсировав и частично опубликовав ее в нарушение договоренностей, просто заблокировали Халидова в мессенджерах. В это же время чеченские силовики пришли к его родственникам, выбив из них данные о местопребывании юноши.
Янгулбаевы же заявили, что «если кадыровцы убьют кадыровца, то так ему и надо».
Сейчас, после задержания, жизни Халидова, уверены правозащитники, грозит опасность.
