40-летний Карачич в последние годы входил в тренерский штаб белградского «Партизана». В сборной Армении он будет работать совместно с греческим специалистом Костасом Папавасилеу и главным тренером молодежной сборной страны Микаелем Погосяном.
Ранее главным тренером сборной Армении был Рекс Каламян, который является помощником тренера в «Милуоки Бакс».
