Она заработала на базе медцентра в шотландском городе Глазго. Там людям дают возможность употреблять героин и другие наркотики «под присмотром» в «чистой и гигиеничной обстановке». В центре есть «инъекционное» помещение и зона отдыха с книгами, чаем, пуфиками и телевизором, а еще — кабинет, где дежурит врач.

Проект направлен на «снижение смертности от наркотиков», власти Шотландии выделили на него £2,3 млн в год.
Наркотики посетителям не выдаются, зато есть чистые шприцы и все необходимое для укола.

Also in the latest update is the ability for users to create a unique @username from the Settings page, providing others with an easy way to contact them via Search or their t.me/username link without sharing their phone number.
