«Трекан» – так называется установка – за один час способна переработать 135 тонн снега. Талую воду станция сливает в канализацию, но прежде она очищает ее от песка, пластика, реагентов и других загрязняющих веществ. Кроме того, снегоплавильная машина мобильна.
За 8 часов одна станция перерабатывает 3200 кубометров снега – это примерно 270 самосвалов. Чтобы справиться с таким же объемом, транспортным предприятиям нужно не меньше суток, то есть в 3 раза больше времени.
