В преддверии 23 февраля встретился с хабаровчанином, ветераном Великой Отечественной войны Ефимом Спиридоновичем Петрушенко, который 9 марта 2025 года отпразднует свой столетний юбилей. По случаю праздника и знаменательной даты я вручил ему подарки и от всей души пожелал крепкого здоровья, долголетия, мира и благополучия. Его жизненный путь – пример стойкости и мужества для всех нас. В посёлке Некрасовка я встретился с супругами Козулиными – Еленой Филипповной и Николаем Анатольевичем, тружениками тыла, внесшими весомый вклад в Победу нашей страны над фашистской Германией. Елену Филипповну я поздравил с днём рождения, а Николая Анатольевича — с наступающим Днём защитника Отечества.
Встречи с этими замечательными людьми, свидетелями и участниками великих событий, наполнили меня глубоким уважением и признательностью. Пусть их жизнь будет долгой, счастливой и мирной!

You may recall that, back when Facebook started changing WhatsApp’s terms of service, a number of news outlets reported on, and even recommended, switching to Telegram. Pavel Durov even said that users should delete WhatsApp “unless you are cool with all of your photos and messages becoming public one day.” But Telegram can’t be described as a more-secure version of WhatsApp. He floated the idea of restricting the use of Telegram in Ukraine and Russia, a suggestion that was met with fierce opposition from users. Shortly after, Durov backed off the idea. Investors took profits on Friday while they could ahead of the weekend, explained Tom Essaye, founder of Sevens Report Research. Saturday and Sunday could easily bring unfortunate news on the war front—and traders would rather be able to sell any recent winnings at Friday’s earlier prices than wait for a potentially lower price at Monday’s open. But this has also meant that the company has also engaged with lawmakers more generally, although it maintains that it doesn’t do so willingly. Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. If you initiate a Secret Chat, however, then these communications are end-to-end encrypted and are tied to the device you are using. That means it’s less convenient to access them across multiple platforms, but you are at far less risk of snooping. Back in the day, Secret Chats received some praise from the EFF, but the fact that its standard system isn’t as secure earned it some criticism. If you’re looking for something that is considered more reliable by privacy advocates, then Signal is the EFF’s preferred platform, although that too is not without some caveats.
