Наступление на одноимённую провинцию началось три дня назад и стало самым масштабным с 2020 года. По данным AP, которое ссылается на мониторинговые группы, боевики уже захватили более 50 деревень.

Ранее исламисты уже контролировали Алеппо, но были вытеснены из него армией России и силами правительства Башара Асада в 2016 году.
