Московский городской суд 22 января оставил в силе решение Басманного районного суда Москвы о продлении меры пресечения в виде содержания под стражей бывшему вице-премьеру Башкирии Алану Марзаеву, сообщили РБК Уфа в пресс-службе суда.
Марзаева задержали в конце сентября в Уфе. Его подозревают в получении взятки в особо крупном размере. Следствие считает, что чиновник получил 37 млн руб. от руководства дорожно-строительной компании за покровительство и помощь в заключении контракта на строительство дорог. Посредником в передаче денег был Александр Клебанов, занимавший пост главы Минтранса Башкирии.

Ukrainian forces have since put up a strong resistance to the Russian troops amid the war that has left hundreds of Ukrainian civilians, including children, dead, according to the United Nations. Ukrainian and international officials have accused Russia of targeting civilian populations with shelling and bombardments. However, the AFP, citing a Pentagon official, said the U.S. hasn’t yet seen evidence that Belarusian troops are in Ukraine. Again, in contrast to Facebook, Google and Twitter, Telegram's founder Pavel Durov runs his company in relative secrecy from Dubai. The next bit isn’t clear, but Durov reportedly claimed that his resignation, dated March 21st, was an April Fools’ prank. TechCrunch implies that it was a matter of principle, but it’s hard to be clear on the wheres, whos and whys. Similarly, on April 17th, the Moscow Times quoted Durov as saying that he quit the company after being pressured to reveal account details about Ukrainians protesting the then-president Viktor Yanukovych.
