Жители, пришедшие на заседание, остались недовольны его закрытием и обратились к Путину пряма из зала заседаний думы. В своём обращении они раскритиковали действия главы Сысерти Дмитрия Нисковских (он пришёл на заседание думы), спикера думы Ильи Тугбаева и губернатора Свердловской области Евгения Куйвашева.
