Режиссер, в частности, снял ряд документальных картин: «Истории на супер 8» (2001) о группе The No Smoking Orchestra, «Марадона» (2008) о знаменитом аргентинском футболисте Диего Марадоне, «Пепе. Высшая жизнь» (2018) про бывшего президента Уругвая Хосе Мухику и другие.
⚪️Кинематографист отмечен 15 различными медалями и орденами. Так, например, в 2016 году президент России Владимир Путин наградил его орденом Дружбы за значительный вклад в укрепление сотрудничества между народами, сохранение и популяризацию русского языка и культуры за рубежом.
Кустурица много раз посещал Россию, где его считают «самым русским сербом».

Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores. "We as Ukrainians believe that the truth is on our side, whether it's truth that you're proclaiming about the war and everything else, why would you want to hide it?," he said. Right now the digital security needs of Russians and Ukrainians are very different, and they lead to very different caveats about how to mitigate the risks associated with using Telegram. For Ukrainians in Ukraine, whose physical safety is at risk because they are in a war zone, digital security is probably not their highest priority. They may value access to news and communication with their loved ones over making sure that all of their communications are encrypted in such a manner that they are indecipherable to Telegram, its employees, or governments with court orders. In view of this, the regulator has cautioned investors not to rely on such investment tips / advice received through social media platforms. It has also said investors should exercise utmost caution while taking investment decisions while dealing in the securities market. Russians and Ukrainians are both prolific users of Telegram. They rely on the app for channels that act as newsfeeds, group chats (both public and private), and one-to-one communication. Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Telegram has remained an important lifeline for both Russians and Ukrainians, as a way of staying aware of the latest news and keeping in touch with loved ones.
