Генерал-лейтенант Альфонс Маис в Мюнстере встретил японскую делегацию во главе с генералом Ясунори Морисита (General Yasunori Morishita), главнокомандующим сухопутными войсками Сил самообороны Японии. Также в мероприятии принял участие лейтенант-генерал Ян Свилленс (Lieutenant General Jan Swillens), командующий Королевской армии Нидерландов (Commander of the Royal Netherlands Army).
Далее японские гости посетили танковое училище и Центр боевой подготовки армии, где были показаны танк Leopard 2 и БМП Puma. Также японцам показали учебный городок Шнёггерсбург.
