В Испании есть традиция карнавальных мероприятий Moros y Cristianos. Изначально отмечали результаты Реконкисты, но сейчас празднование победы над маврами выглядит не толерантно, да и в текущих реалиях не везде понятно, кто кого победил, потому официальная версия, что отмечают историческую и многонациональную многоплановость Испании. Проходит эта штука в разное время в разных городах. По 3-4 дня горожане устраивают карнавалы и шествия, активно с утра до ночи взрываются петарды и устраиваются салюты. Традиционно на шествиях куча детей, как от грудничков в процессии, так и зрителей, им раскидывают всякие конфетки и сувенирку. Что немаловажно, граждане сами год копят на свои костюмы, чтоб быть красивее всех. Выглядит это примерно вот так
