Металу - 55!

Ну що ж котани, от і настала дата яку звісно пропустити не можна - 55 років тому, в п'ятницю 13-го 1970-го прозвучали дзвони та грім, за якими пішов важкий риф пісні Black Sabbath з першого альбому "Black Sabbath" гурту Black Sabbath :) чим офіційно ознаменувалось народження нового жанру - Металу!

За 55 років Метал обріс десятками і десятками піджанрів, з'явилась незліченна кількість крутих банд, виросло декілька поколінь фанатів, він помирав та завжди відроджувався, як фенікс, з вогню, попелу, трешу та угару трансформуючись кожного разу в щось нове та унікальне, викристалізовуючи все нові і нові грані звучання.

Сьогодні Метал, як і 55 років тому і надалі продовжує свою переможну ходу планетою.

It is unclear who runs the account, although Russia's official Ministry of Foreign Affairs Twitter account promoted the Telegram channel on Saturday and claimed it was operated by "a group of experts & journalists." Russians and Ukrainians are both prolific users of Telegram. They rely on the app for channels that act as newsfeeds, group chats (both public and private), and one-to-one communication. Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Telegram has remained an important lifeline for both Russians and Ukrainians, as a way of staying aware of the latest news and keeping in touch with loved ones. Pavel Durov, a billionaire who embraces an all-black wardrobe and is often compared to the character Neo from "the Matrix," funds Telegram through his personal wealth and debt financing. And despite being one of the world's most popular tech companies, Telegram reportedly has only about 30 employees who defer to Durov for most major decisions about the platform. The company maintains that it cannot act against individual or group chats, which are “private amongst their participants,” but it will respond to requests in relation to sticker sets, channels and bots which are publicly available. During the invasion of Ukraine, Pavel Durov has wrestled with this issue a lot more prominently than he has before. Channels like Donbass Insider and Bellum Acta, as reported by Foreign Policy, started pumping out pro-Russian propaganda as the invasion began. So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform. Lastly, the web previews of t.me links have been given a new look, adding chat backgrounds and design elements from the fully-features Telegram Web client.
