Cher Monsieur Escada,
Félicitations de la liste que vous avez faite depuis la condamnation de Civitas par la république française, liste de tout ce que Civitas a accompli depuis sa fondation il y a maintenant quelques années, en grande partie, bien sûr, du a vous-meme.
J'avais écrit à Monsieur Durin que j'estimais que cette république ne méritait pas que l'on croise le faire avec, et pour réponse il m'a envoyé cette liste. Je me permets de vous en féliciter. Certainement il valait la peine que Civitas eût fait tout ce qu'elle a fait pour encourir les foudres de la dite république. Pour elle, le mot de Cambron. Mais pour vous-même, continuez de plus belle !

Perpetrators of these scams will create a public group on Telegram to promote these investment packages that are usually accompanied by fake testimonies and sometimes advertised as being Shariah-compliant. Interested investors will be asked to directly message the representatives to begin investing in the various investment packages offered. You may recall that, back when Facebook started changing WhatsApp’s terms of service, a number of news outlets reported on, and even recommended, switching to Telegram. Pavel Durov even said that users should delete WhatsApp “unless you are cool with all of your photos and messages becoming public one day.” But Telegram can’t be described as a more-secure version of WhatsApp. Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. But this has also meant that the company has also engaged with lawmakers more generally, although it maintains that it doesn’t do so willingly. For instance, in September 2021, Telegram reportedly blocked a chat bot in support of (Putin critic) Alexei Navalny during Russia’s most recent parliamentary elections. Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores. "We as Ukrainians believe that the truth is on our side, whether it's truth that you're proclaiming about the war and everything else, why would you want to hide it?," he said.
