Эта традиционная в Новокуйбышевске встреча проводится 15 февраля. Жители вместе со всей страной вспоминают воинов- интернационалистов, которые исполняли свой долг, защищая Родину за пределами Отечества.

На данный момент в Новокуйбышевске из 24 матерей наших героев, не вернувшихся из Афганистан, Чечни и других горячих точек, в живых осталось только пять женщин, воспитавших настоящих защитников Родины.

На приеме главы Лидия Поваляева, председатель комитета матерей и Татьяна Смолина пообщались с председателем Думы Сергеем Лукиным заместителями главы Еленой Пахомовой, Юлией Пономаренко, советником главы Эмилией Аскеровой.

Поддержать мам приехали и ветераны боевых действий Сергей Никишкин, Борис Муравьёв, Игорь Федореев. Представители "Боевого братства" всегда в курсе проблем и просьб мам и ежедневно готовы прийти на помощь.
