Евгений Филипович и предприниматель Кахин Исмаилов обвиняются в покушении на мошенничество (ч. 3 ст. 30, ч. 4 ст. 159 УК РФ). По предварительной информации, свердловский бизнесмен вместе с Филиповичем предложил местным предпринимателям гарантии отсутствия проблем с полицией при вырубке леса. Однако, как только работы начали идти полным ходом, предпринимателей задержали сотрудники правоохранительных органов. Осознав обман, "пострадавшие" обратились с заявлением в полицию.
Филиповича и Исмаилова задержали в конце 2024 года. Решением суда их содержание под стражей продлено до 28 марта.
