Right now, as Wired reports, the app is a key way for Ukrainians to receive updates from the government during the invasion. In addition, Telegram now supports the use of third-party streaming tools like OBS Studio and XSplit to broadcast live video, allowing users to add overlays and multi-screen layouts for a more professional look. False news often spreads via public groups, or chats, with potentially fatal effects. Although some channels have been removed, the curation process is considered opaque and insufficient by analysts.
