ستاد احیای امر به معروف شهرستان آران و بیدگل اعلام کرده که ورود گردشگران به کویر مرنجاب و سیازگه از ۲۹ اسفند تا ۳ فروردین ممنوع خواهد بود. این تصمیم با ادعای «حفظ حرمت شب‌های قدر و ماه رمضان» گرفته شده است. جواد عبدلی، رئیس اداره میراث فرهنگی آران و بیدگل، گفته که تنها افرادی که از قبل در مجموعه‌های گردشگری کویر اقامت رزرو کرده‌اند اجازه ورود خواهند داشت و سایر گردشگران اجازه ورود به منطقه را نخواهند داشت. کویر مرنجاب یکی از محبوب‌ترین مناطق گردشگری ایران است که با جاذبه‌هایی مانند کویرنوردی، آفرود، موتورسواری، سافاری، شترسواری و اسکی روی شن و ماسه، سالانه میزبان ده‌ها هزار گردشگر داخلی و خارجی است.
