ویدئویی از نخستین دیدار رومی گونن، امیلی داماری و دورون اشتاین‌براخر با خانواده‌هایشان در بیمارستان منتشر شده است. خانواده این گروگان‌های اسرائیلی پس از پانزده ماه دوری، عزیزان خود را در آغوش گرفتند. پزشکان در حال بررسی وضعیت سلامت این ۳ دختر هستند و بازگشت آنها امیدواری را برای آزادی دیگر گروگان‌ها افزایش داده است. در ۷ اکتبر سال گذشته و در جریان حمله ناگهانی گروه تروریستی حماس به اسرائیل، «رومی گونن» ۲۴ ساله از جشنواره موسیقی نووا ربوده شده بود و «امیلی داماری» ۲۸ ساله و «دورون اشتاین‌براخر» ۳۱ ساله از کیبوتص کفار عزه، در جنوب اسرائیل ربوده و به گروگان گرفته شدند.
تنها راه برای جلوگیری از تکرار ۷اکتبرها ، ۲۲بهمن ها و آبان ۹۸ها در آینده ، اتحاد این دو ملت کهن و تنهاست .
