Место это знаковое - на белых мраморных стенах запечатлены знаковые для Сталинградской битвы события. Например, указаны наименования 229 соединений и объединений, принимавших участие в сражении, названы получившие почётное наименование армии. Именно здесь – в присутствии ветеранов Великой Отечественной войны и участников специальной военной операции – и дан старт «Сталинградскому призыву».
