We are all called to be leaders—in our families, our vocations, and in our Churches.
Even if we are not called to serve the body of Christ in an official capacity, we ought to hold ourselves to the qualifications of overseers and deacons. If we sincerely believe there is a priesthood of all believers, we should embody that priesthood in whatever capacity we are called to lead.
Can you (like the Apostle Paul) instruct those around you to “imitate me”? Are you dignified, faithful, and above reproach? Do you teach those in your charge the things of God, both by word and deed?
This is my resolution for the year of our Lord 2025. I pray that men everywhere will make it theirs as well.

Ukrainian forces have since put up a strong resistance to the Russian troops amid the war that has left hundreds of Ukrainian civilians, including children, dead, according to the United Nations. Ukrainian and international officials have accused Russia of targeting civilian populations with shelling and bombardments. In 2014, Pavel Durov fled the country after allies of the Kremlin took control of the social networking site most know just as VK. Russia's intelligence agency had asked Durov to turn over the data of anti-Kremlin protesters. Durov refused to do so. Soloviev also promoted the channel in a post he shared on his own Telegram, which has 580,000 followers. The post recommended his viewers subscribe to "War on Fakes" in a time of fake news. 'Wild West' Either way, Durov says that he withdrew his resignation but that he was ousted from his company anyway. Subsequently, control of the company was reportedly handed to oligarchs Alisher Usmanov and Igor Sechin, both allegedly close associates of Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
