Früchte zusammen mit der Pfefferminze, Zucker und Vanilleschote in einen großen Topf geben und mit kochendem Wasser aufgießen. Über Nacht abgedeckt stehen lassen. Am nächsten Tag den Saft mit Hilfe eines Haarsiebes abseihen, dazu die Schlehen leicht andrücken, damit aller Saft aus den Schlehen rausgedrückt wird. und nochmals für ca. 10 Minuten kochen lassen, damit sich der Zucker löst. Haut der Schlehen und Kerne sollten dabei im Sieb bleiben. Heiß in sterile Flaschen füllen und gut verschließen.
